This Privacy Policy describes how Voxly ("we", "us") collects, uses and shares information about you when you use our mobile applications and website at voxly.one.

1. Information we collect

We collect (a) information you provide directly: email address, display name, profile settings; (b) usage data: conversation history, flashcard progress, study statistics; (c) voice data: audio snippets you record during lessons; (d) device information: platform, OS version, locale.

2. How we use your data

We use your data to provide and improve the Voxly learning experience, generate AI tutor responses, track your CEFR progress, sync state across devices, deliver push notifications you opted into, and prevent abuse.

3. Voice data

Voice recordings are transmitted securely to our speech recognition provider (Deepgram) and AI provider to generate a response. We do not store raw voice recordings for training purposes. We do not sell voice data. Voice snippets may be retained for up to 30 days for debugging and abuse prevention.

4. Third-party services

We share minimal data with the following processors strictly to operate the service: Deepgram (speech-to-text), Cartesia (text-to-speech), OpenAI (language models), Firebase Cloud Messaging (push), Sentry (crash reporting), Brevo (transactional email), CloudPayments (payments).

5. Your rights

You can request a copy of your data, correct inaccuracies, or delete your account at any time by writing to privacy@voxly.one. We respond within 30 days.

6. Data retention

We retain your account data as long as your account is active. After account deletion, we erase personal data within 90 days, except where retention is required by law.

7. Children

Voxly is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under this age.

8. Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be announced at voxly.one and by push notification where applicable.
